Filter cartridges for phosphate and algae removal
EHEIM phosphateout foam cartridges are impregnated with an iron compound for chemical filtration. The iron binds the phosphate, removes it from the water circulation and inhibits the growth of algae in the aquarium. The cartridges are only intended for a single use. If the phosphate levels in the aquarium start to rise again, then the cartridge is depleted and must be replaced.
EHEIM phosphateout filter cartridges are available for aquaball 60/130/180 and biopower 160/200/240
- Foam cartridge for removal of phosphates (inhibits growth of algae)
- Cartridge impregnated with an iron compound, free from harmful substances
- For single use (must be changed, if phosphate levels start to rise again)
